PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY
General Comments
Having viewed divorce from every professional angle, I consider Collaborative practice as the most effective way to help couple’s divorce, with respect and dignity, while maintaining maximum control over the process and maximizing the benefits to their children. If children are involved it allows parents the chance to put their own hurts and anger aside and put their children’s needs first. The Collaborative process gives people the opportunity to be their best possible selves.
Areas of Emphasis
Current focus of clinical practice is in the area of collaborative practice and parenting coordination, working as a Neutral Mental Health Professional or Child Specialist in collaborative law divorces and as a Parenting Coordinator for families during and post divorce, and training/teaching.
