Professional Activities:

He is past president of the Denton County Bar Association and was the founding President of  the Family Law Section of the Denton County Bar Association.  In 2004 he founded the Denton County Alternative Dispute Resolution Program (DCAP), recipient of the Award of Merit from the State Bar of Texas, and the Outstanding Partnership Award,  2004-2005, for its work for the Denton County Bar Association and the Denton County Commissioners.  The program is based on providing mediation services on a sliding scale, to civil litigants in Denton County, Texas.
